Hi! Hope this finds you staying creative and forging ahead.
I thought I would take a moment to share my “insight” on what the past few months have taught me.

First of all…
Life is meant to be lived & enjoyed.
I’m sure you will all agree that no one in a million years could have predicted what has transpired on this planet (well, maybe Dr. Evil from Austin Powers).
So we take responsibility the best we know how with the information we have and move forward.
Secondly, it’s important to not let fear take over your days.   What personally has helped me is to take a moment everyday to be grateful for what is good.  There really is a lot of goodness around us if you just look.

My staff & I decided as a team to have fun and make the best of everything. We take fun photos or do silly videos just to keep our spirits up.

It’s understandable that some people may be a little on edge at times as we sort through all the information to try and do the right thing.   So, especially now, a little kindness & understanding go a very long way.

Taking a nice long walk (especially after a zillion zoom meetings and virtual conferences) is not only good for the soul, but very physically energizing.  And how lucky are we to live where we are able to breathe the fresh air of Litchfield County?

Even though our focus is eyes,  I do sincerely care about my patients and their well being.   Thank you for being a part of our practice and our “EYES” family.   I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Until then…. tell those you care about how much you love them.   Don’t deny yourself that last piece of chocolate.  And do something daily that makes your heart happy.
Warmest regards,

Dr. Tommasina Sideris
