Meet the doctor
Dr. Tommasina Pasqua Sideris
I am a 1998 honors graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry. I relocated to Litchfield , CT in 2013 (I married a wonderful man here, Dr. Steven Sideris).
I practice full-scope optometry and I am TPA and DPA certified (licensed to use and prescribe medical eye drops.)
I started my own practice from scratch in 1999 in the adorable town of Harrisville, MI . In 2007 I designed my own line of sunglasses which I had manufactured and then sold in my practice. In 2008 I purchased (with a partner) 6 other optometric practices throughout Michigan.
I recently sold the practices in Michigan and have relocated to Litchfield with my now 14 year old son where I am enjoying the time as a wife and spending more time with my son who is very active in sports (hockey, lacrosse and football) as well as music.
I’ve lived all over the East Coast – born in New Jersey, moving to Massachusetts, then Pennsylvania, Florida, Delaware, back to Pennsylvania – and as of 2015 I am happily settled in Connecticut with my lovely wife.
While in Pennsylvania and Delaware, I became and Administrative Trainer for six Optometry offices in the area. I was quickly promoted to Office Manager for one of them, while continuing to train personnel for the entire network.
In every aspect of my job, my goal is to give each patient the best, personal experience while helping them improve their vision.
In my spare time, I spend time with my family, play guitar and work on improving my skill as a photographer.
I came to the optical industry with experience in businesses that required attention to detail and an interest in visual arts. With a keen eye for color and design, I quickly developed a knack for fitting each patient with the perfect frame. My goal is to make the purchase of new eye glasses simple and fun.
I find it rewarding to help patients see life with better focus and clarity. I have found eyeglasses to be the perfect intersection of function, technology and fashion. Come and see for yourself what we’re all about at Eyes on Litchfield; experience how the right pair of glasses can be so much more than just a piece of hardware that holds your lenses in place.
